Ariadna mouline is the most commonly used decorative thread for various types of embroidery and handicrafts. Ariadna mouline is made of 6 threads of 100% cotton, it easily separates and easily passes through the canvas. A large palette of colors and a delicate gloss will make any type of embroidery look exceptionally beautiful. Ariadna floss is available in skeins of 8 m.
Ariadna company has a color range of almost 400 shades of embroidery threads. Ariadna's old three-digit numbering was replaced with a new four-digit numbering and colors were added. At the turn of 2020/2021, another 55 new colors of mouline threads were added, which creep up from a four-digit number and additionally letters, e.g. A, B, C, D, these are completely new colors of mouline threads from Ariadna. Prepare mouline: Ariadna mouline is delivered in a multi-thread form, and its length depends on the manufacturer, as standard, 1 skein of mouline is 8m long. Before use, lay out the mouline, and then a length that you consider comfortable for work.
Divide the mouline: Ariadna mouline consists of six joined threads that can be divided into smaller groups, depending on your needs. The most common method is to divide it into two or three threads, but you can adjust it to your preferences and the density of the material.
Thread the needle: Get an embroidery or needlework needle and thread the thread on it. We recommend using special embroidery needles that have a large eyelet to allow the thread to be easily passed through the fabric. A threader, which you will find in our offer, may be useful.
Make stitches: Now you can start making your pattern. For cross stitching, make crosses on the fabric using Ariadna threads to embroider the pattern. In other needlework techniques, use floss thread to make appropriate stitches and decorations.
