Floss conversion chart

Used to replace the colors of threads from different manufacturers - DMC, Madeira, Ariadna and Anchor.

To find the color you want to replace:
- select the appropriate palettes from the drop-down list
- search for the color you are interested in or find it on the list

Palettes used in the floss conversion chart

The floss conversion chart includes four palettes: DMC, Madeira, Ariadna and Anchor. The DMC and Ariadna palettes contain new colors introduced to the market a few years ago. Each color from a given palette has been matched with a color from a palette from another company. We have selected all the colors and none of them have been omitted.

Characteristics of the floss conversion chart

Each palette has its own color characteristics and a different selection of shades. Some colors from two different palettes may be identical or almost identical. Others will only be similar in shade. There are also colors that do not match in other palettes, so the closest possible color was selected.

Floss conversion as a suggestion

Some matches may seem inaccurate. The choice of substitute is not final and should be treated only as a guideline. You can freely change the equivalent if it better matches the given color scheme of the pattern.
